Lavender essential oil - the energetic cleanser
Lavender essential oils can assist us to cleanse mental patterns and to accept ones individuality becoming free of judgement and criticism from others!
Essential Oils of the highest quality (e.g. from Young Living) work on our energy fields as they are very high in vibration. Lavender is very cleansing. The name Lavender comes from the latin word “lavender” and means “to wash”. Lavender has been used by women washing their laundry in the river, the romans fragrancing their baths, the Hebrews who included it into their incense mixtures and many more ancient cultures. Hildegard von Bingen recommended Lavender for liver problems and Paracelseus for hysteria and pain therapy.

Incorporate the oils into your ritual practice and movement practise
During my menopause transition I started to incorporate daily rituals with essential oils into my life. The oils together with breathing and movements assisted me to shift long held mental patters and programming which were no longer needed. I wasn’t the small child anymore which needed the approval of the parents or other adults. I was a grown up, yet I still held or rather my body still held many old patterns which made me feel anxious and disempowered.
Essential oils assist us to accept higher frequencies into our system and can help you to shift the energy within seconds when you feel stuck.
Especially now with the daily incoming high frequencies it is important that we cleanse our body several times a day of old and dense energies. Bathing in natural water or if not possible taking a epsom salt bath (foot bath) with lavender is a great way to cleanse our energy fields.
Are all “lavenders” created equal?

Tips for daily rituals with true lavender essential oil:
Put a couple of drops of lavender in your hand and apply over your throat and neck as a reminder to speak your own truth with confidence, cleansing anything which no longer serve you. Repeat every morning for 49 days
Put a couple of drops Lavender on your pillow or apply over the solar plexus and heart chakra to promote a good nights sleep with deep rest! Do this for at least 49 days in a row. If you miss a day, simply start from day 1 again.
Diffuse lavender in your environment if you suffer from hay fever and to cleanse the air of pollution.
Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia), grows from sea level to 800m high.
It has two spike like arms per stem and grows in clusters. It is mainly cultivated in Spain and very little is grown in France.
Energetic benefits:
releases stubbornness and intolerance
Helps to transform mental patterns
Lavandin (lavandula hybrida) is a hybrid, resulting from a cross pollination of true lavender and spike lavender (both of them can be found in the wild at an altitude of 600 to 800m only). It can have one stem and no arms (like true lavender) or one stem with two arms like spike lavender. It is known for its high essential oil yield.
Lavandin is used in the perfume industry and often blended with synthetic fragrances so that every batch has exactly the same fragrance. It is therefore not useful for cleansing your energy field or shifting emotions as we do not know the quality of the oils.
Young Living does has high quality lavandin, but it is only used in blends and not sold as a single oil. Lavandin has naturally a lot more campher then true lavender and is often used in sports or massage oil to release muscle cramps and muscle tension. It is energising and helps with mental exhaustion
