10 Ways I feel taken care of - Year End Reflections!

I had a beautiful Christmas Day lunch here in New Zealand on Boxing day with the community, basking in the sun and eating delicious food and enjoying each others company sharing what we are feeling grateful for!

It reminded me how much I am taken care of. Having been someone who tends to worry about a lot in my life and easily feeling anxious. My anxiety during peri- and menopause hit a all time high. Thats when I started to have a gratitude journal and I would journal three reasons to be grateful for every night in my journal for many years.

This year I have gone through a very big transition similar to 28 years ago when I packed my suitcase to find a job in Singapore. 6 weeks ago I rented out my apartment in Singapore and packed my suitcase to come to New Zealand and I have no idea what will unfold. There is a deeper trust in my intuition to be here at this moment. Yesterday during the lunch I reflected on how much I am taken care of and I would love to share it with you, to inspire you. Especially if you are going through a big transition and leaving behind people you love it can sometimes feel that you are al-one. Yes read it again Al-one!

So here they are… 10 Ways I feel taken care of:

1. The land here, supports, centres and nourish me. It has a very powerful healing energy

2. The beauty in the nature all around me touches my heart and inspires me to create more beauty in life

3. The food from mother earth nourishes and sustains me

4. The people I connect with and whom I share common values with fuel my inspiration and nurture my soul

5. The people working the land and providing our food

6. The rivers and lakes to give us water to hydrate our body

7. The animals who assist in creating harmony and balance

8. All parts of my body who support and nourishes me including the energy who is running through my body

9. The governments and legal frame works who provide stability

10. The seen and unseen world who supports me in ways I often don’t notice
